Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Secure Embedded Systems department (5327) is seeking a motivated electronics engineer to support state-of-the-art printed circuit board (PCB) layout for large multi-disciplinary programs critical to national security. The successful candidate will support a team in the design, development, test, and deployment of novel embedded computing solutions. You will work alongside world-class experts and use your skills in the following areas:
- Layout of custom, state of the art PCBs
- PCB test and debug
- Team with PCB Designers, firmware, and software engineers to create embedded computing solutions.

Preferred Qualifications and Location Details
- Certified Interconnect Designer (CID) Certification
- Certified Interconnect Designer Advanced (CID+) Certification
- Certified Printed Circuit Designer (CPCD) certification
- Experience with high-layer-count stack-ups (18+ copper layers)
- Experience with PCB layout, testing, and debugging for applications involving state-of-the-art FPGAs, high speed, and large memory
- Experience routing signals with high-speed data-rates (5+ gb/s)
- Experience routing modern memory topologies (DDR4/5)
- Experience with fine design features (3 mil trace & space)
- Active DOE Q clearance
- Contract Duration 1-2 years
