Global Payroll Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering payroll transformation, implementation, and optimization projects across multiple countries while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and stakeholder alignment.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Lead global payroll implementations and transformations.
- Presenting and communicating to C Suite
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate payroll vendors, HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Tax, and local country teams.
- Manage payroll system migrations, integrations, and process standardization.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and data privacy requirements.
- Drive testing, parallel payroll runs, and deployment activities.
- Monitor project progress and provide updates to executive stakeholders.
- Support change management, training, and transition to operational teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5-10+ years of payroll experience
- 3-7+ years leading payroll implementation or transformation projects
- Experience managing multi-country or global payroll programs
- Experience working with payroll vendors and managed service providers
- Exposure to mergers, acquisitions, payroll consolidations, or global payroll transformations
- Payroll systems knowledge: Workday, SAP, ADP is required
- Risk management and problem-solving.
- Process improvement and payroll governance.
- Data analysis and reporting.

The Salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$143,950.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience, their education, and the work location.
