ExemptRESPONSIBILITIES• Oversee the processing of weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for approximately 1,700 employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Fund policies and procedures.
• Audit and reconcile payroll data and personnel changes to ensure data integrity and alignment with established standards.
• Implement and execute controls to safeguard the financial integrity of the Fund.
• Maintain and update payroll information in Workforce Management and ADP Enterprise systems, utilizing expertise in time and attendance processes.
• Manage custom report creation and oversee special projects, including data import, export, and organization, to support payroll operations.
• Design, plan, and create custom reports using ADP Enterprise or ADP Reporting.
• Supervise Payroll Analyst in processing retroactive and final payments, banking transactions, garnishments, and personnel changes for all Funds as required.
• Calculate and process annual sick leave reimbursement in accordance with Fund policies.
• Work closely with the Senior Accounting Manager regarding wires or payroll tax matters.
• Process and reconcile year-end payroll adjustments, including third-party sick pay, W-2s for Fund employees, and 1199 member benefits such as Camp and Citizenship.
• Upload wage data and process W-2 corrections through the Social Security Administration website to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Calculate and process annual severance and vacation liability reports, providing detailed analysis to the Senior Accounting Manager and Chief Financial Officer.
• Upload and reconcile benefit contributions in the Employer Portal and V3 systems for all Funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare, process, and submit monthly and quarterly Department of Labor reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or the equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of payroll experience, including two (2) years of supervisory experience
- Critical thinking capabilities, strong communication skills, ability to multitask and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Proficient Computer skills: Microsoft Office Word and Excel, Payroll and HRIS Systems
