QUALIFICATIONS- CPP Certification
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of payroll experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing payroll or client service teams
- Strong expertise in multi-state payroll, payroll taxation, and regulatory compliance
Experience in HCM, PEO, or high-growth SaaS environments is highly preferred. A bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PAYROLL MANAGERAs our Payroll Manager, you'll serve as both a leader and strategic partner, guiding payroll professionals and service leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, development, and excellence. Throughout your day, you'll collaborate with team members to solve challenges, establish performance expectations, support professional growth, and ensure payroll operations continue to exceed expectations. You'll oversee compliance with federal and state payroll regulations, including FLSA, multi-state requirements, and payroll tax obligations, while continuously evaluating opportunities for automation, process enhancements, and system improvements. You'll also act as a senior escalation resource for complex client matters, using your expertise to advise organizations on payroll operations, risk management strategies, and industry best practices while ensuring exceptional client experiences remain at the center of everything we do.
