Role Overview
Redbridge is seeking an Associate Director to join its US Payments Advisory team, focused on the delivery of payments consulting engagements for enterprise and large merchants.
The role is a senior individual contributor position working under a Director accountable for the region. The Associate Director will own substantial components of client engagements while collaborating closely with the Director on overall engagement direction.
The role requires deep practical expertise in the US domestic card processing landscape, particularly on the merchant and acquiring side.
Key Responsibilities - Client Delivery
Deliver payments advisory workstreams within complex engagements.
Act as a subject-matter expert on US domestic card processing, merchant acquiring, and card economics.
Lead analyses of card acceptance costs, pricing structures, and processing contracts.
Develop executive-ready presentations, models, and recommendations.
Participate in client meetings and workshops.
Pre-Sales & Commercial Support
Support Directors and Sales colleagues in pre-sales discussions.
Contribute to proposal development and engagement scoping.
Help articulate Redbridge's value proposition in payments strategy and analytics.
Experience & Qualifications
6+ years of experience in merchant payments, card processing, or merchant acquiring.
Strong hands-on knowledge of the US domestic card processing ecosystem.
Experience in payments consulting, acquiring, or large merchant environments.
Ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
Skills & Competencies
Deep technical understanding of US merchant payments and card processing.
Demonstrable experience optimizing interchange fees, network fees, and knowledge of associated network rules and regulations.
