Job ResponsibilitiesThis position reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible to:
- Coach, evaluate, and develop the parts team, review training requirements and provide opportunities for growth.
- Develop, communicate, manage and monitor effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Create annual Parts Department goals and budget, in alignment with the organization's financial and operational objectives.
- Maintain an accurate and effective parts inventory control system that includes a perpetual and/or annual physical inventory and proper counter procedures.
- Manage recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for the Parts team
- Exemplifies a strong focus on parts sales and marketing.
Skills and Qualifications- 3 years of experience supervising a Parts team.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Parts Department.
- Experience in Agricultural would be considered an asset.
- Experience with motivation, training, appraising and general supervisory duties.
- Proficient using software applications including Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Solid understanding of the financial and operating principles of a Parts Department would be considered an asset.
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
- Must be able to push, pull and move equipment and/or supplies more than 50 pounds
- Ability to work flexible and extended hours when needed.
Compensation Range- $80,000 - $105,000 per year
- Placement within the wage range is based on skills, experience, and qualifications
- Applicants with more or less experience and qualifications may be placed outside the range
