Mills Auto Group is seeking a dedicated Parts Manager to oversee the parts department operations at our Pineville, NC location. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient management of parts inventory, maintain strong vendor relationships, and provide excellent customer service to support both our service team and customers. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for the automotive industry.
Responsibilities- Manage daily operations of the parts department to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Maintain accurate inventory control and timely ordering of automotive parts and supplies
- Build and maintain effective relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Train, supervise, and motivate parts department staff to achieve sales and customer service goals
- Assist the service department by providing timely availability of parts to support repairs and maintenance
- Analyze sales trends and inventory turnover to optimize stock levels
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Prepare reports on parts sales, inventory status, and departmental performance
Requirements- Proven experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and inventory management systems
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in computer applications and inventory software
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive certifications are a plus
