Role SummaryWe're looking for a Partner Growth Director to drive growth, retention, and operational excellence across Gyde's portfolio of health insurance agency partners.
As an account lead, you'll own the long-term success of 3-5 asset acquisitions post-close. You'll guide them through integration, drive adoption of Gyde's platform, and lead the execution of Gyde's Partner Growth initiatives. You'll work cross-functionally with M&A, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and HR to turn strategy into results.
This role is ideal for a top decile, generalist operator who loves tackling complex, ambiguous problems, enjoys building relationships, and thrives in a fast-moving environment. They're equally comfortable problem-solving with leadership as they are executing autonomously with detail and precision.
You'll be the connective tissue between Gyde's leadership team and its agency partners, turning business plans into tangible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary post-acquisition lead for agencies in integration and early growth phases
- Own the relationship with, and be accountable for performance of 3-5 partner agencies
- Develop and execute agency-specific Partner Growth plans spanning financial, operational, and growth initiatives
- Lead special projects that improve Gyde's integration and Partner Growth engine as the company scales
- Coordinate all workstreams (systems, compliance, finance, HR, broker enablement/recruitment, go-to-market) to deliver seamless integration
- Build trust with agency owners and brokers, acting as their main point of contact and internal advocate
- Monitor key metrics (e.g., growth, retention, productivity, margin uplift, and platform adoption) and use data to drive continuous improvement
- Partner with Forward Deployed Specialists and internal teams to translate field learnings into scalable playbooks
- Act as "Voice of the Customer" for partner agencies internally across product, engineering, operations, finance and client teams
What you bring and who you are- 4-6 years of experience at a top consulting or private equity firm driving portfolio operations
- Strong project management and analytical skills; experience running multi-workstream projects or post-merger integrations preferred
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills. Able to build trust and influence stakeholders from agency owners to internal execs
- A bias toward action; thrives when solving problems in real time
- High adaptability and composure in fast-changing environments
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership; comfortable working in ambiguity and creating structure where none exists
- Experience in insurance, healthcare, or brokerage operations is a plus but not required
- Ability to travel ~25% required
