Full Job Description
The Role
As we grow, our events program needs to grow with it. We're hiring a Partner and Events Manager to build our event strategy and then run it: deciding where we show up, what we host, and how every event turns into pipeline.
If you've built an events program before, know how to turn a booth into pipeline, and think in ROI instead of RSVPs, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
Build the Strategy
Build our event strategy from the ground up: which formats we invest in (webinars, executive experiences, industry conferences and trade shows, and co-hosted events), how often, and how each one ties to company growth goals.
Set the criteria an event has to meet before it gets budget, and make the call on what's in and what's out.
Plan the calendar ahead of time with GTM leadership so it stays proactive, not reactive.
Run the Program
Run our monthly webinar series for both public audiences and client-only sessions.
Plan and execute co-hosted events with organizations across our ecosystem, coordinating scope and timing with our Partnerships team.
Own end-to-end execution: booths, travel, staffing, AV and production, virtual and hybrid platforms, and event materials.
Get internal teams and outside vendors aligned on goals and expectations before every event.
Work with content and design teammates on event materials and promotion.
Budget and Vendors
Own the events budget: planning, forecasting, and reporting against it.
Negotiate contracts with venues, production vendors, and sponsors.
Pipeline and Reporting
Make sure every event lead is captured in HubSpot with correct source attribution and moves into follow-up quickly.
Own the post-event follow-up and nurture that turns event leads into meetings and pipeline.
Debrief after every event, report results to marketing and GTM leadership on a regular cadence, and use what you learn to decide what we repeat, what we cut, and where budget goes next.
How You'll Be Measured
Pipeline generated from events.
Conversion rate from event lead to meeting to opportunity.
Cost per opportunity.
Return on event spend.
Requirements
Must-haves
5+ years running B2B events, both in-person and virtual.
Experience building an event strategy or program, not only executing one someone else designed.
A track record of tying events to pipeline and revenue, not just attendance.
Experience running co-hosted events with other organizations.
Budget ownership and vendor negotiation experience.
Hands-on HubSpot experience: campaigns, lists, and lead source attribution.
Strong project management skills, including running multiple event timelines at once in Jira.
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning priorities independently.
Able to travel up to 20-25%, primarily domestic.
Nice-to-haves
6+ years of experience, including running a flagship or multi-day event.
Experience marketing to compliance, cybersecurity, or IT audiences.
