Owner Contracts Manager

Position Description

CORE is seeking an experienced Owner Contracts Manager to join our team in Frisco, Texas. This role serves as the primary steward of the contractual relationship between CORE and our clients, ensuring owner agreements are executed accurately, managed proactively, and aligned with CORE's commitment to exceptional client service.

Working directly with CORE's President, Vice President of Operations, and Vice President of Business Operations, the Owner Contracts Manager plays a key role in protecting the company's interests while fostering strong, long-term client relationships. From contract negotiations through project completion, this individual provides strategic guidance on contractual matters, identifies potential risks, and helps ensure project teams have the information and support needed to successfully execute client agreements.

In addition to managing owner contracts, the Owner Contracts Manager provides leadership and oversight to the Subcontract Administration team, helping ensure subcontract execution aligns with owner contractual obligations while maintaining visibility into project progress and client satisfaction.

Candidate Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction contract administration, commercial construction management, legal contract management, or related field.
  • Bachelors Degree or above in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, Risk Management, Business Law, and/or, ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate
  • Significant experience negotiating and administering owner contracts on commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of AIA, ConsensusDocs, and other construction contract documents.
  • Ability to analyze complex contractual language and communicate implications clearly to project teams and executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to build credibility and trust with clients and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience leading or mentoring administrative or contract management professionals preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple high-profile projects simultaneously.
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Technology proficiency with Microsoft Office, DocuSign, Viewpoint Vista, and construction management software is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • This is an in-person position located in Frisco, Texas.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as CORE's primary administrator for owner contracts from initial negotiation through project closeout.
  • Review, negotiate, prepare, and manage owner agreements, amendments, change orders to contract values, and other contractual documents.
  • Interpret contract language and provide guidance to project teams regarding contractual obligations, potential risks, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop trusted relationships with clients by providing responsive, professional communication throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress to maintain awareness of contractual obligations, potential issues, and opportunities requiring executive attention.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Project Managers, Accounting, Legal Counsel, and Executive Leadership to proactively resolve contract-related issues.
  • Lead and mentor Subcontract Administrators, providing direction, support, and process consistency across multiple projects ongoing at once.
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation and reporting within company systems.
