THE WORKManages one or more shifts or one or more functions in the repair, overhaul, and modification of units produced in the shop.
Responsibilities include:
• Coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Training the team and driving for quality, costs and throughput improvements.
• Overseeing and remaining accountable for the costs/hours for all items in respective areas.
• Helping develop metrics to improve the business and validate ROI to include all Lean manufacturing opportunities.
• Serving as a roadblock remover with the ability to drive performance while maintaining ethical compliance in all aspects of the business.

Basic Qualifications• Experience managing a team in a technical environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Team Leader, overseeing employees in a fast-paced manufacturing/technical environment
• Reports out to executive leadership on daily schedule/cost position
Desired Skills• Preferred Degree with Leadership experience. In lieu of degree, Military service and familiarization with repair and overhaul will be required
• SAP experience
• Familiarization with Military Aviation/Repair Depot build practices
• Ability to evaluate scrap/rework conditions and implement Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Team builder with capability to create synergy and recognize the potential of human capital to expand and grow an organization
• Ability to develop forward metrics that will be used to substantiate performance and the organizations added value in supporting the Military Warfighter and all customer products.
• Possess the capability to multi-task and make strategic/financial decisions that will maintain compliance with labor charging, ethical practices and Lockheed Martin Core Values
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
