Full Job Description
The Outpatient Primary Care Provider will deliver comprehensive medical care in a full-time walk-in clinic setting at the IHS facility in Cass Lake, Minnesota. The provider will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. The clinic operates with two providers seeing an average combined volume of 12 patients per day, ensuring a manageable workload and collaborative clinical environment.

$180 - $200 an hour

Position Overview

The provider will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. The clinic operates with two providers seeing an average combined volume of 12 patients per day, ensuring a manageable workload and collaborative clinical environment.

Work Schedule & Patient Volume

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Clinic Type: Outpatient Walk-In

Average Patient Volume:

-20-30 patients per day total

-Shared between two providers

Key Responsibilities

-Provide direct outpatient medical care to walk-in patients of all ages

-Perform medical histories, physical exams, assessments, and diagnoses

Required Qualifications

Education:

-MD or DO from an accredited medical school

-OR Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) from an accredited program

Licensure:

-Current, unrestricted license in any U.S. state, territory, or D.C.

-Must be eligible for licensure in Minnesota

Experience:

-Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient, primary care, or urgent/walk-in care settings preferred

-Experience in rural, tribal, or underserved communities strongly preferred

Certifications:

-Current BLS (required)

-ACLS (preferred)

-DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
