OS Administrator Team Lead

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Ability to support a 24/7 environment, including off-hours and on-call duties.
• Proficiency in using Ansible Playbooks, shell scripting, and Perl for automation.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RHEL OS patching in a large 24/7 environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve RHEL OS issues effectively.
• Automate patching and OS support using Ansible Playbooks, shell, and Perl.
• Manage Windows OS patching in a smaller 24/7 environment.
• Collaborate with SAP application administrators and cloud management teams.
• Utilize AWS, Azure, and GCP consoles for OS administration tasks.
• Lead and manage the OS Administrator Team in a high-demand environment.
