This involves conducting comprehensive physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating closely with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless and high-quality inpatient care.To be successful in your role, you will meticulously provide direct patient care, utilizing your specialized training and skills to assess, diagnose, and manage hospitalized patients under physician supervision. - Obtain medical histories when necessary.
- Perform physical exams (within established protocol).
- Diagnose, treat and monitor chronic diseases (within protocol guidelines).
- Order diagnostic test.
- Prescribe or recommend medications for prescription for medications and treatment (within protocol guidelines).
- Promote positive lifestyle habits to all patients through education and counseling.

Job Requirements
Required
- Master’s degree in nursing studies
- 3-5 years clinical nursing practice in an acute care setting required.
- 1-3 years previous experience as a NP in an acute or primary care setting or equivalent RN experience
- Licensed as an RN in the state of TN/GA
- American Heart Association BLS (BLS-CPR)
