The Orthopaedic Clinical Physician Assistant (PA) works closely with the orthopedic surgeon to provide comprehensive patient care in the outpatient setting. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and coordinating diagnostic studies such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, and developing treatment plans under physician supervision. The PA manages follow-up visits, provides patient education, assists with preoperative and postoperative care, and coordinates surgical clearances and other necessary preparations. By streamlining patient evaluations and ensuring all required information is available prior to surgical consultations, the PA improves patient flow, enhances efficiency, and supports high-quality orthopedic care.
What We're Looking For EducationInfluenza Vaccinations are a requirement for employment. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date, during the influenza season, if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical exemption.
