Responsibilities

InnovAge is seeking a strategic and collaborative Organizational Effectiveness & Change Partner to help leaders, teams, and the organization navigate growth, transformation, and evolving business priorities. This role partners closely with business leaders, HR, Internal Communications, and key stakeholders to design and execute strategies that improve effectiveness, drive adoption, and deliver sustainable business results.

 

The Organizational Effectiveness & Change Partner will assess organizational needs, facilitate solutions that enhance team and leadership performance, support enterprise change initiatives, and implement talent and organizational development programs that strengthen capability across the organization

While organizational effectiveness and change leadership are primary focuses of the role, the position also designs and facilitates learning experiences, develops leadership resources, and leverages learning technologies to support employee growth and organizational success.

 

Functional Category: Organizational Effectiveness & Change Consulting

Estimated Percent of Time: 30%

  • Partner with leaders, HR Business Partners, and teams to assess organizational challenges and identify solutions that improve effectiveness, collaboration, structure, accountability, and performance.
  • Consult with leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, role clarity, team effectiveness, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Lead and support enterprise change initiatives through stakeholder assessments, change impact analyses, readiness planning, communication planning, adoption strategies, and reinforcement activities.
  • Facilitate leadership alignment sessions, strategic planning workshops, team effectiveness discussions, and organizational problem-solving sessions.
  • Develop and maintain organizational effectiveness and change management frameworks, toolkits, templates, and best practices.
  • Partner with Internal Communications and business leaders to ensure consistent, effective communication during transformational initiatives.
  • Measure adoption, engagement, and business outcomes associated with change initiatives and recommend course corrections as needed.

Functional Category: Leadership Development & Facilitation

Estimated Percent of Time: 25%

  • Facilitate leadership development programs, team workshops, and professional development experiences for employees and leaders across the organization.
  • Deliver engaging, interactive learning experiences that drive behavior change and practical application.
  • Adapt facilitation approaches to meet the needs of diverse audiences, functions, and leadership levels.
  • Serve as a facilitator for leadership retreats, strategic sessions, team development workshops, and organizational initiatives.
  • Coach and support leaders in applying development concepts to improve team performance and effectiveness.

Functional Category: Talent & Organizational Development Programs

Estimated Percent of Time: 20%

  • Support enterprise talent management processes, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, career development, and development planning initiatives.
  • Lead or support employee listening strategies, including engagement surveys, pulse surveys, new hire surveys, and exit feedback processes.
  • Analyze employee feedback, organizational metrics, and talent data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop recommendations and action plans that strengthen leadership capability, employee engagement, retention, and organizational health.
  • Partner with HR leaders to maintain organizational development tools, frameworks, resources, and programs that enable consistent practices across the organization.

Functional Category: Learning Solutions & Content Development

Estimated Percent of Time: 20%

  • Design and develop high-quality learning solutions, including instructor-led workshops, virtual learning experiences, self-paced learning modules, leader guides, toolkits, and job aids.
  • Create visually compelling and user-friendly learning materials that simplify complex concepts and support adoption.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical learning solutions.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of leadership, organizational development, and training resources.

Functional Category: Learning Technology & Systems

Estimated Percent of Time: 5%

  • Support the utilization and continuous improvement of the Learning Management System (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
  • Assist with learning path design, learner experience enhancements, reporting, and content organization.
  • Evaluate new technologies and capabilities that improve learning accessibility, effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to ensure learning technologies support broader organizational development strategies.

REQUIRED

 

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Education, Organizational Leadership, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in organizational development, change management, talent development, leadership development, human resources, or related disciplines.
  • Professional certifications such as Prosci Change Management, CPTD, ATD, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, , Insights Discovery, or comparable certifications preferred.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, leadership programs, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with leaders to solve organizational, team, and performance challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational development principles, change management methodologies, employee engagement strategies, and leadership development practices.
  • Experience managing projects and leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and consulting skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting organizational change, business transformation, technology implementations, or organizational design initiatives.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning, succession planning, talent review, and performance management processes.
  • Experience with employee listening platforms such as Culture Amp or similar systems.
  • Experience developing eLearning and digital learning solutions.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and learning technology platforms.
