Position Summary:

Join the Vallen Team as the The Organizational Change Project Manager. In this role you will be responsible for leading and supporting enterprise-wide projects and organizational change initiatives that drive business transformation and operational excellence. This role partners with stakeholders across the organization to plan, execute, and sustain change by applying structured change management methodologies, coordinating communications, facilitating training and adoption activities, and managing project plans from initiation through implementation. The position serves as a key liaison between business teams, leadership, and project stakeholders, ensuring successful project delivery, user adoption, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, skilled facilitator, and organized project leader with experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Change Management:
  • Apply ADKAR and other structured frameworks to identify gaps in awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, and reinforcement.
  • Track adoption metrics and surface resistance signals early; recommend and support corrective actions.
  • Maintain change management deliverables, logs, and documentation across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Draft change-related communications for impacted employee groups, tailored to audience and channel.
  • Maintain a change communications calendar in coordination with the broader PMO and Communications teams.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator and point of contact for Vallen's Certified Change Agent community.
  • Plan and facilitate monthly Change Agent calls, including agenda development, facilitation, and follow-through on action items.
  • Curate and distribute resources, tools, and updates through the ADKAR Teams Channel and other communication vehicles.
  • Identify opportunities to expand and strengthen the network; onboard new Change Agents as cohorts complete certification.
  • Foster peer learning and knowledge-sharing across the network to build collective change capability over time.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Vallen's internal ADKAR certification sessions, including scheduling, logistics, participant communications, and materials.
  • Partner with training facilitators to continuously improve session design, activities, and participant experience.
  • Track certification completion, maintain participant records, and report on program reach and growth.

Project Management:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project need, scope, timeline, and resources for successful delivery.
  • Lead and organize enterprise-wide projects: prepare and manage project plans, define milestones, design schedules, and formulate execution details.
  • Track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, and performance indicators for quality, reliability, schedule, and cost.
  • Prepare and deliver senior leader and stakeholder communications and project progress reports.
  • Resolve and coordinate resolution of issues to minimize delays; signs off on project completion.
  • Coordinate and assist with developing test plans, scenarios, and scripts; track go and no-go testing results for successful go-live activities.
  • Conduct post-implementation analysis for continuous process and project delivery improvement.
  • Facilitate process improvement activities and process mapping across functional areas.
  • Serve as a liaison between project teams, external clients, and other functional areas of the organization.


Job Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (IT, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Finance, etc.) coupled with 3-5+ years of successful project management leading projects of significant enterprise scope and impact.
  • 2+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, project coordination, communications, or a closely related field.
  • Working knowledge of change management frameworks, particularly ADKAR or Prosci methodology.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Project or functionally similar project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and the technical aptitude to learn company-specific programs and applications.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Visio or functionally similar applications for process mapping.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence the actions of others.
  • Comfortable facilitating meetings, training sessions, and group discussions.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred:
  • Accredited Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).
  • Prosci ADKAR certification or Change Management certification.
  • Experience supporting training program coordination or adult learning initiatives.
  • Exposure to ERP implementations or large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards.
  • Background in industrial distribution, supply chain, or a related industry.
