OR RN Clinical Leader

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• 5+ years of nursing experience, with leadership exposure.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in staff education and training.
• Knowledge of budgeting and resource management.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients have a designated Primary Nurse.
• Adjust patient assignments based on acuity and needs.
• Review daily staffing levels and anticipate needs based on OR schedules.
• Collaborate with nurse manager to resolve unit issues effectively.
• Assist in educating and training nursing staff.
• Manage unit operations in alignment with budgetary guidelines.
• Provide direct, proficient patient care when necessary.
