Full Job Description
Primary Eye Care Associates in Chicago, Illinois, is seeking an ambitious Optometrist who is excited to grow within a performance-based practice environment and be rewarded for their impact. While the practice offers a competitive base salary and benefits, this opportunity is designed for a motivated provider who wants to be treated like a true partner, contribute to the continued success of the practice, and benefit from uncapped earning potential that can help support both professional goals and personal financial priorities, including student loan repayment.

What you'll do:
As a Clinical Associate Director, you’ll provide comprehensive eye health and vision examinations for a diverse patient population while supporting the management and continued growth of the eye care team. You’ll work with advanced technology, including autophoropters, Optos, MPOD testing, digital slit lamp photography, LLLT, LipiFlow, Rinsada, BlephEx, OCT, virtual visual field, virtual Neurolens, axial length measurement, an on-site lab, and virtual frame try-on tools. In this role, you’ll also collaborate with drug, equipment, and contact lens representatives, participate in education and training, help develop systems that improve patient triage and team efficiency, support outreach to local optical and medical clinics, and contribute to social media and marketing efforts. This opportunity offers flexibility, with 20 to 40 hours per week and part-time options available.

Who you are:

You’re a passionate and dedicated Doctor of Optometry with a strong commitment to providing exceptional eye care and improving the vision health of the community. The ideal candidate is confident in the treatment and management of ocular disease, including retina care, and is comfortable caring for a diverse patient population with a wide range of visual needs and age groups. Five years of experience, multilingual abilities, strong computer and social media skills, and public speaking experience are preferred but not required. You’re enthusiastic about staying current with advancements in optometry, developing personalized treatment plans, and working collaboratively with opticians, technicians, and administrative staff to deliver seamless patient care, support a positive team culture, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice.

Why you'll love Chicago:
Living in Chicago offers the perfect blend of big-city energy, neighborhood charm, and everyday convenience. Known for its stunning architecture, vibrant food scene, lakefront views, and rich arts and culture, Chicago gives residents countless ways to explore, connect, and unwind. From walking or biking along Lake Michigan to enjoying local restaurants, museums, parks, festivals, and professional sports, there’s always something new to experience. With diverse neighborhoods, accessible public transportation, and a welcoming Midwestern spirit, Chicago is an exciting place to build both a career and a life.

You’ll enjoy a range of benefits, including:

  • Production bonus
