What you'll do:
In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive medical optometry care in a private practice setting, including refractions, contact lens fittings, medical eye exams, cataract surgery co-management, punctal plugs, and treatment for a wide range of ocular conditions. You’ll have access to advanced technology and diagnostic tools such as RetEval, OCT, Matrix, Forma/Lumecca, TearCare, A-scan, topography, scleral lenses, digital imaging, and a large optical, allowing you to deliver thorough, personalized care for each patient. This position offers a 36-hour workweek with an average of 30 patients seen per day between all doctors, supported by well-trained staff and a patient-centered team culture shaped by founder Dr. Matt Sullivan, where the atmosphere feels more like a family than just a job.
Who you are:
You’re an enthusiastic and motivated Optometrist who is licensed to practice in Arizona and brings one to two years of optometry experience, along with the confidence to diagnose and treat a variety of ocular conditions. The ideal candidate is medically trained, comfortable managing patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and other complex visual needs, and experienced with contact lens exams and fittings. This opportunity offers the flexibility to work four or five days a week with no nights or weekends, making it a great fit for someone who wants to provide high-quality medical eye care while maintaining a balanced schedule.
