What you'll do:
As an optometrist at Eyecare Associates of Southern Oregon, you'll have the opportunity to practice full-scope optometry in a supportive environment, providing a broad range of services such as annual eye exams, glaucoma management, and specialized dry eye treatment. With a daily patient volume of 18 to 22, you'll be backed by a dedicated team, allowing you to focus on personalized, patient-centered care. Who we're seeking:
You are a dedicated optometrist with proven clinical expertise and a commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is a Licensed professional in Oregon, preferably with residency training and at least two years of prior experience, who brings a deep understanding of contemporary optical solutions and the latest advancements in contact lens technology. You have experience managing a diverse range of patient needs, including urgent cases and surgical co-management, and you thrive on staying current with industry trends, innovative products, and lens technologies. Your passion for personalized care, combined with your technical proficiency, ensures that every patient receives the highest standard of vision health services tailored to their unique needs. Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D., including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
