Job Description:

Outstanding Non-Profit Optometry practice in Pensacola, FL has full time opening for an Optometrist.

This practice seeks a doctor to provide eye care to patients utilizing the fullest extent of their license.

Key highlights of the practice:
  • State of the art equipment
  • Great mix of patients with kids and adults
  • Diabetic retinopathy & disease management cases for Adults
  • Screenings at schools for kids
  • Open to new grads & experienced O.D.s
  • Tech does medical history and pre-test patients

Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD):
  • Full time - 4 or 5 days a week, no evenings or weekends
  • Perform comprehensive eye health and vision examinations
  • Techs do full workups- Work in both free standing clinic for adults & fully outfitted Van on school premises for kids (Nurses pre-screen)
  • Counsel patients regarding their vision needs
  • Must enjoy working with school age children
