The Global Markets Operations (GMO) Strategic Solutions & Enablement (SSE) team is seeking an experienced, hands-on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Lead to own and coordinate end-to-end testing for strategic change initiatives. This individual will serve as the primary UAT point of contact across Operations, Product Owners, technology teams, and other key stakeholders, quickly building strong relationships and developing a thorough understanding of complex business processes, technical workflows, and downstream impacts.
Responsibilities:- Confirms loan documentation for accurate trade settlements
- Partners with Sales Associates, Traders, Research Analysts, trading counterparties, internal and external attorneys, administrative agent banks, and various other internal operations groups
- Manages post-trade management and logistics, settlement pricing, and closing coordination
- Analyzes and resolves highly complex operational problems
- Supports ad-hoc projects for new processes or industry initiatives
- Processes loans end-to-end with accurate data input into various credit and operating systems
- Lead the end-to-end UAT lifecycle for multiple concurrent workstreams, including scope definition, planning, execution, defect management, business sign-off, and production readiness.
- Partner with Product Owners, business process owners, Operations subject-matter experts, and technology teams to understand requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, system changes, and downstream impacts.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive UAT strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, traceability, execution schedules, and entry and exit criteria.
- Ensure test coverage addresses critical business processes, technical workflows, integrations, data impacts, controls, and applicable change standards.
- Coordinate and lead in-sprint acceptance testing, end-to-end UAT, regression testing, and other business validation activities as required.
- Mobilize and guide business testers, assign testing activities, facilitate test execution sessions, and ensure evidence and results are documented accurately and on time.
- Independently host testing calls, triage issues, distinguish defects from requirement or data gaps, and coordinate troubleshooting with business and technology partners.
- Document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution and retesting; escalate risks or blockers that could affect delivery timelines or production readiness.
- Produce clear UAT status reporting and metrics, including execution progress, pass and fail results, defect aging and severity, key risks, dependencies, and readiness recommendations.
- Facilitate stakeholder decisions on defect disposition, risk acceptance, and release readiness, and obtain formal business sign-off before implementation.
- Build strong relationships across business and technology teams, influence outcomes, and maintain effective testing governance within a regulated organization.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing standards, tools, documentation, and ways of working.

Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience leading User Acceptance Testing, business testing, quality assurance, business analysis, or complex change initiatives.
- Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end UAT across multiple systems, workstreams, and stakeholder groups.
- Strong experience developing UAT strategies, test plans, scenarios, scripts, traceability, execution schedules, status reporting, and completion criteria.
- Proven ability to interpret business requirements, user stories, process flows, technical workflows, and acceptance criteria and translate them into effective test coverage.
- Hands-on experience coordinating in-sprint testing, end-to-end UAT, regression testing, defect triage, retesting, and business sign-off.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile delivery practices and Jira or comparable requirements and defect-management tools.
- Ability to quickly learn complex systems, products, operational processes, data flows, integrations, and control requirements.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to establish credibility, create accountability, influence decisions, and drive timely action across business and technology teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present testing status, risks, defects, and readiness recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
- Self-directed, highly organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$60,000.00 - $115,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
