Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate
Ophthalmologist to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will provide medical and surgical eye care services, diagnose and treat ocular conditions, and deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
- Diagnose and treat ocular diseases and injuries
- Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and treatment plans
- Perform surgical procedures (e.g., cataract surgery, glaucoma procedures, LASIK, etc.)
- Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology and best practices
Qualifications- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology Residency Program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
- Active medical license in [State] (or eligible for licensure)
- Strong surgical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications- Fellowship training in subspecialties (e.g., Retina, Cornea, Glaucoma, Pediatric Ophthalmology)
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Multilingual abilities
