Vet Care is a hybrid hospital, meaning we offer both specialty and primary care services. On the support staff side, we have an experienced patient care team, a phenomenal client service team, and the best referral management department in the country. Our stable management team prioritizes patient care and associate well-being and retention. Love teaching? We have a robust rotating internship program that offers you the opportunity to work with a new group of young veterinarians every year.
Vet Care recently moved into a beautiful, new, 35,000 foot hospital in northeast Albuquerque. We have dedicated suites for ultrasound, endoscopy, 6 surgical suites, oncology (including a chemo hood), ER procedures, and I-131 treatment. Our new hospital is equipped with a linear accelerator; we are the only hospital in New Mexico able to offer radiation therapy. Our hospital is AAHA-accredited, and we are an AAFP Gold Cat-Friendly Practice.
