Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead our Agricultural Ingredients manufacturing operations in Livingston, California. You will oversee all facility activities during your shift, managing both operational and administrative responsibilities. As the on-site authority during off hours, you will ensure production targets are met while maintaining product quality, safety, and team performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll do:
  • Ensure efficient use of staff and equipment to meet production requirements while minimizing costs and overtime.
  • Maintain, enforce, and support facility policies and procedures related to safety, quality, productivity and employee attendance.
  • Train and develop assigned shift employees to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Analyze operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives, promoting employee engagement and accountability.
  • Collaborate with Production, Plant, Quality, and Maintenance leadership to improve efficiency, equipment reliability, and product quality.
  • Provide hands-on floor leadership, including troubleshooting equipment issues and maintaining a strong production-floor presence.
  • Ensure production areas are orderly, equipment is fully operational, and all products meet customer specifications.

The salary range for this position is $97,000 - $110,000 USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families.
