Job DescriptionThe Operations Manager leads the Division's traffic signal, roadway lighting, service, and construction operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards. This role is accountable for operational and financial performance, providing leadership to project managers, supervisors, and field teams while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The Operations Manager drives process improvements, develops employees, resolves operational challenges, and ensures exceptional customer satisfaction and project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee daily operational activities and project execution.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Manage resource allocation, workforce planning, schedules, and budgets.
- Support project managers and field leadership to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Monitor operational performance and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.
- Develop, mentor, and promote high-performing employees and future leaders.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Progressive leadership experience in construction, utility, infrastructure, traffic, substation, or related operations management.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, teams, and operational budgets.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, project management principles, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to manage profitability and operational performance.
- Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
