Regal Rexnord is seeking an Operations Manager to lead our Glendale, WI, gearing facility. This role has full responsibility for the operational, financial, and people performance of a manufacturing facility. This role provides hands-on leadership to a cross-functional team and is accountable for delivering strong Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth (SQDCG) results while driving continuous improvement and cultural excellence in alignment with the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS).

This leader translates division strategy into disciplined execution, builds high-performing teams, and drives operational transformation to ensure sustainable growth, customer success, and profitability.

Scope & Leadership Responsibilities

  • Full plant responsibility for manufacturing operations, facilities, production planning, purchasing, materials management, supply chain, and associate leadership.
  • Direct leadership & partnership of functional leaders across Production, Continuous Improvement, Quality, Supply Chain, EH&S, Finance, and Human Resources.
  • Establishes clear performance expectations, operating rhythms, and accountability across the site.
  • Builds and sustains a high-performing leadership team with strong ownership, engagement, and a high say–do culture.
  • Creates a learning environment that emphasizes problem solving, change leadership, and continuous improvement.
  • Acts as a key leader within the Division, partnering closely with peer plants and central functions to deliver results.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Champion a strong safety culture; ensure EH&S compliance and continuous improvement with safety as the top priority.
  • Lead plant-wide adoption of Lean and RBS principles, including:
    • 80/20 analysis
    • Value Stream Mapping
    • 6S
    • Lean flow and conversion
    • Visual Daily Management
    • Standard Work
    • Kanban / Replenishment systems
    • GEMBA leadership and structured root-cause problem solving (FMEA, RCA)
  • Establish and maintain effective daily, weekly, and monthly operating cadence.
  • Ensure predictable outcomes through disciplined execution, visual management, and rapid corrective action.
  • Drive productivity, reduce waste, compress lead times, and advance the future-state factory vision.

Business & Financial Leadership (P&L)

  • Own site-level P&L performance, including revenue, operating income, cost productivity, and cash.
  • Lead development and execution of Annual Operating Plan (AOP), capital plans, and site improvement priorities.
  • Deliver year-over-year cost productivity improvements (typically ~3% net of inflation).
  • Improve inventory turns and working capital through Lean execution and demand/supply alignment.
  • Translate division priorities into executable site-level plans with clear KPIs and ownership.

Talent, Culture & Engagement

  • Develop a performance-driven culture grounded in accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, retain, coach, and develop leadership and salaried talent.
  • Build strong succession pipelines to support growth and leadership continuity.
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and associate engagement.
  • Communicate performance, priorities, and progress clearly and consistently through leader forums and all-employee meetings.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Business, or related discipline preferred)
  • Master’s degree a plus

Experience

  • 8+ years of manufacturing or operations experience
  • 5+ years of people leadership in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Senior plant-level leadership experience with full site accountability
  • Proven experience leading operational improvement and change initiatives
  • Industrial / metal products manufacturing experience preferred
  • High-mix / low-volume experience preferred

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong Lean, Continuous Improvement, and RBS capability
  • Solid financial acumen with experience owning site-level P&L
  • Data-driven problem solver with strong operational judgment
  • Effective communicator with presence, urgency, and ownership
  • Ability to lead through complexity and drive disciplined execution
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred
