Your Role:- Ensures smoother operation of the facilities: ongoing construction, permitting, and operations.
- Minimizes operational costs while maximizing productivity and maintaining safety and environmental compliance
- Continually works to reduce turnaround time for trucks in and out of the site.
- Accurately tracks waste volume and weight
- Acts as liaison as necessary for community relationships.
- Actively monitors ongoing permitting issues.
- Complies with and ensures adherence to safety standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations
- Meets all financial review dates and corporate-directed programs in a timely fashion.
- Oversees personnel of the department, including selecting, coaching, and training employees, and evaluating employee performance.
- Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
- Assist in the budget process as required.
- Ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of the physical property of the facilities through inspections and a preventative maintenance program with supervisors/employees.
- Conducts, contributes, and/or attends periodic safety meetings to maintain favorable working relationships with employees and promote maximum morale, productivity, and efficiency.
- Provides training and presentation as needed in a position and professional manner.
- Takes an active role in the improvement of safety and health in the workplace.e
- Update and submit revised reports promptly.
- Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act, and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.
Supervisory Responsibilities:- Direct supervision of full-time employees at multiple sites, including transfer stations or materials recovery facilities.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.
Your Skills: - Knowledge of heavy equipment

- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Demonstrated computer skills: PC Scale, Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated effective communication (verbal and written) skills.
Requirements/Preferences:- High School diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in waste recycling or an industrial or manufacturing environment
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
- Driver's license
