TheRole

Entegris is seeking anOperationsManagerto join theCMP Pads Manufacturingteam at the Aurora, Illinois facility. This leader will oversee daily manufacturing operations and provide clear direction, coaching, and accountability to deliver safe, high-quality products on time to the customer base.

The Operations Manager will lead a fast-pacedareaof the operations teamwhile fosteringa cultureof continuous improvement, accountability, and operational maturity.The role coordinates people, materials, equipment, & workflow while strengthening shift-to-shift communication, training, material flow, efficiency, workplace organization, and disciplined execution. This position is onsite with primary responsibilitiesMonday through Friday supporting a 24/5 operationwith oversight on weekends asrequired.

WhatYoullDo

  • Lead daily production activities (multiple shifts) for the CMP Pads business,establishingclear priorities, area assignments, and workflow coordination.

  • Be accountable for safety, quality, delivery, throughput, cost, plant cleanliness, and adherence toestablishedprocesses and work instructions.

  • Translate manufacturing strategies into practical operatingobjectives, goals, and metrics that support profitable growth and continuous performance improvement.

  • Partner with EHS and site leadership to strengthen safety culture, 5S+S/6S practices, hazard recognition, training, andtimelyinvestigation of safety concerns.

  • Monitor schedule attainment, daily output, machine efficiency, material availability, and tool readiness; address gaps and escalate issues promptly.

  • Coordinate production requirements with planning, maintenance, engineering,& qualitytomaintaintargeted output and on-time shipment.

  • Manage training and qualification programs for new and existing equipment and processes; identify skill gaps and maintain cross-training and contingency plans.

  • Ensure work instructions are accurate, maintained, understood, and consistently followed; hold team members accountable to documented standards.

  • Improve material flow, shiftpassdowns, tiered communication, operational efficiency, and visual performance management.

  • Investigate and support resolution of process issues using data, structured problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Partner with New Product Introduction teams to transfer products, materials, and processes from pilot through high-volume manufacturing.

  • Develop team capability through coaching, communication of goals and expectations, performance management, and a culture of teamwork, innovation, and accountability.

  • Demonstrate fiscal responsibility through budget planning, cost control, and disciplined inventory management.

  • Provide off-shift and on-site support as business needs require.

WhatWeSeek

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business operations, engineering, or a related technical field,required.
