About the Role

The Operations Manager/Engineer, Energy Field Operations functions with an engineering-first, AI-driven operating model. This role owns regional day-to-day frac logistics execution while architecting and automating workflows across brokerage, trucking, and field coordination. The mandate is systems design - building repeatable, AI-enabled processes that scale across regions.

This is not a conventional logistics manager. It is an engineering leadership role embedded in real-world oilfield operations.

They combine:
  • Frac engineering experience
  • Trucking/logistics fluency
  • Systems thinking and workflow automation capability


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Own regional frac transportation execution to ensure customer capacity commitments are consistently met
  • Serve as the operational authority across carriers, fleet assets, and field coordination within the assigned region
  • Drive regional KPIs including utilization, turn times, carrier performance, safety metrics, and cost per stage
  • Act as primary escalation point for operational disruptions and customer-impacting events, ensuring rapid resolution
  • Maintain complete visibility and accountability for fleet and asset status, including readiness, custody, and maintenance requirements
  • Build and manage a high-performing regional carrier network through recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management
  • Design and deploy AI-enabled workflows for carrier sourcing, dispatch optimization, onboarding, compliance, and field communications
  • Develop scalable playbooks and SOPs that replace manual processes and standardize execution across regions
  • Own regional financial metrics including cost analysis, pricing awareness, capacity planning, and strategic growth support


Qualifications/Skills:
