What You Will Be Doing

Performs activities involving the producibility and quality of the product, and the processes that directly pertain, encompassing primarily one or more of the following engineering disciplines: failure analysis, industrial, manufacturing, manufacturing equipment, process, product, quality assurance, reliability, supplier quality, Lean Six Sigma, test, and tool.

This role is on the C-130 Global Production Integration team based in Marietta. This role could lead / support both international and domestic integrated product teams. International / Domestic travel is a requirement but should be less than 50% but most likely less than 10% of time. Surge support may be required due to urgent issues that arise. This effort will support the C-130J India MTA campaign.

Specific tasking:

- Responsible for 100% on time delivery of end item components and parts to meet next assembly need dates

- Develop and present program briefings and provide status to internal and external customers

- Develop tools to support Co-Producer performance metrics

- Facilitate tooling and planning progress

- Support material flow and monitor inventories at Co-Producer

- Review Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with Co-Producer and LM; ensure IMS milestones are met

- Provide technical integration between engineering, manufacturing engineer, SCM, quality, co-producer and program

- Develop, lead and support meeting tempo between Lockheed Martin Resident Office (LMRO) and co-producer, LMRO and Marietta team (e.g. periodic stand up, production status, teleconferences)

- Manage Co-Producer constraints and elevate risk as appropriate

- Develops / elevates / manages Risk Mitigation Plans

- Monitors Co-Producer Performance and elevates issues to leadership

- Coordinates schedule with Greenville on component deliveries

- Checks Buyer Furnished Material plan against Co-Producer schedule (weekly) and escalate critical shortages as appropriate

- Facilitate and support scheduled program reviews (e.g. MRL/MRA, PRR, PMR, EPMR, QMR)

- Support new business proposal activity with scheduling, staffing and budget estimates

- Special projects and studies as required (ex: capacity, rate growth, new source options, etc.)

- Potential to Perform / Support CAM duties which include budget development and cost management for both international and domestic accounts

- Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
