Operational Technology (OT) Control Systems Analyst

Location: Redstone Arsenal (Army Materiel Command), Huntsville, AL - 100% On-Site

Brown Technologies is currently seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Control Systems Analyst to support the identification, assessment, and analysis of control systems - including Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) - that underpin critical infrastructure and mission-essential assets supporting Department of War operations. In this role, you will work closely with Government stakeholders, engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and facility personnel to evaluate how systems, facilities, and infrastructure support mission execution and to inventory system components. This position is 100% on-site at Army Materiel Command (AMC) headquarters on Redstone Arsenal, AL.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Use site maps, architecture documentation, site assessments, and production processes to prepare workflow process documents.
  • Analyze mission assessments to assist in the identification of key assets, critical infrastructure, and supporting systems.
  • Perform on-site inventories (physical and logical), assessments, and validation audits of control systems and associated components.
  • Coordinate with on-site stakeholders to identify control systems and associated components.
  • Perform research and analysis at all levels of site and system products, including concept design, installation, inventory, operation, sustainment, and disposal.
  • Provide technical analysis of control systems to support the identification, assessment, and documentation of current and future systems.
  • Perform data entry into program baseline templates of data collected during on-site inventories.
  • Develop technical and operational views, reports, and summaries that provide leadership with a continuous, accurate situational understanding of mission impact and operational risk.

Basic Qualifications:
  • A STEM-related Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of experience supporting OT control systems, industrial control systems, infrastructure assessment, or related environments; or a High School Diploma and sixteen (16) years of experience supporting OT control systems, industrial control systems, infrastructure assessment, or related environments.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • Working knowledge of Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS), SCADA, Building Automation Systems (BAS), or related control environments.
  • Ability to identify system dependencies, infrastructure relationships, operational impacts, and technical risks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% in support of customer sites and assessment activities.
  • Must be able to work 100% on-site at Army Materiel Command (AMC), Redstone Arsenal, AL.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience conducting site assessments, physical and logical inventories, validation audits, and technical evaluations.
  • Experience analyzing and documenting OT and control system architectures, workflows, and operational processes.
  • Control systems scanning experience.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following control systems or platforms:
