Job DescriptionJob Summary:
As our Operational Technology Configuration Manager (OTCM), you'll be the person helping keep the digital backbone of our industrial control systems organized, secure, traceable, and ready for what's next. You'll bring configuration management discipline to a world of control systems, SCADA, PLCs, networks, software, and digital tools-while finding smarter ways to automate the work and make our processes better.
This is more than maintaining files and configurations. You'll help shape how Centrus manages operational technology throughout its lifecycle, working across Engineering, IT/OT Cybersecurity, Network Operations, Quality, and Project Management to build processes that are scalable, auditable, and built to support a growing organization.
What You Will Do:
You'll own the configuration management lifecycle for ICS/OT software, network configurations, and digital assets-from establishing baselines and managing changes to version control, releases, audits, and status reporting. You'll lead Software Change Review Boards, administer configuration and PDM tools, coordinate software releases and deployments, develop the ACO Engineering OT Configuration Management Program Plan, and make sure documentation, network diagrams, cybersecurity requirements, and regulatory expectations stay aligned. You'll also use scripting and automation to streamline workflows, solve problems, improve efficiency, and create smarter ways for engineering and operations teams to manage their technology. Along the way, you'll train and mentor others, monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities for reuse, and stay ahead of emerging OT technologies and cybersecurity practices.
We'd Love To Hear From People With:
- A bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
- 3+ years of configuration management experience.
- A strong background in configuration management, IT/OT systems, or controls engineering.
- Experience working with ICS/OT environments, PLC/SCADA software, and network configuration management.
- Experience with version control, change management, and agile planning tools.
- Familiarity with Windows, Unix/Linux, and industrial control system operating environments.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or VBA.
- The ability to develop and maintain scripts that support configuration workflows, data extraction, and network/control system integrations.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a "Q" clearance
