The
Operational Resilience Analyst supports the development, execution and continuous improvement of goeasy's enterprise Operational Resilience Program. The role provides structured analysis and coordination across Business Continuity Management, IT Disaster Recovery and Physical Security, helping ensure plans, recovery requirements, controls and programme records remain current and effective. This individual partners with business leaders, technology teams, Facilities, Human Resources, Risk, Security and external providers to coordinate assessments, exercises, remediation and reporting. The role also uses modern resilience platforms, data analytics and workflow automation to improve insight, efficiency and organisational preparedness.
What will you be doing?- Support the organization's Business Continuity and Operational Resilience program by facilitating business impact assessments, maintaining continuity plans, and ensuring recovery requirements are documented and up to date.
- Coordinate business continuity and disaster recovery testing exercises, track outcomes, and drive remediation activities to completion.
- Monitor resilience risks, issues, and action plans, ensuring appropriate governance, reporting, and stakeholder accountability.
- Partner with business, technology, and operational teams to strengthen resilience capabilities, support critical site readiness, and improve recovery preparedness.
- Support disaster recovery planning by maintaining recovery documentation, application inventories, recovery objectives, and testing evidence.
- Assist with resilience reviews of third-party vendors, cloud services, and critical technology dependencies.
- Support physical security programs through policy administration, site assessments, incident documentation, and corrective action tracking.
- Assist with audits, risk assessments, regulatory reviews, and compliance activities by maintaining required documentation and evidence.
- Administer resilience management platforms and related tools, ensuring data quality, user access, workflow effectiveness, and reporting accuracy.
- Develop dashboards, reporting, and automated workflows using Power BI, Microsoft 365, Power Automate, and related technologies to improve program efficiency and insight generation.
- Identify opportunities to enhance resilience processes, controls, reporting, and technology capabilities through continuous improvement initiatives.
What experience do you have?- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Risk Management, Emergency Management, Information Technology, Security Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, operational resilience, risk management, physical security, emergency management, or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of business continuity planning, business impact analysis, disaster recovery, risk assessment, incident management, and physical security principles.
- Experience coordinating assessments, testing exercises, action plans, reporting, and stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and identify practical solutions to complex challenges.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Power BI, workflow automation tools, and other technology platforms used to support resilience and operational programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, facilitate discussions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on enhancing processes, controls, reporting, and operational effectiveness.
- Relevant certifications such as ABCP, CBCI/MBCI, ITIL, CISM, CISSP, PSP, emergency management, cloud, or analytics certifications are considered an asset.
