Full Job Description
Position Summary:

The Director of OhioRISE Care Coordination oversees teams dedicated to supporting the recovery of children and families in the OhioRISE program within a designated area. This role involves close collaboration with community partners, including schools, justice systems, service providers, and CMEs, to develop and enforce policies that comply with program, local ADAMHS board, and federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:
  • Supervise daily activities and care for children and youths with mental illness.
  • Lead the OhioRise vision and establish community partnerships.
  • Handle recruitment, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Analyze client data to identify trends and improve service delivery.
  • Maintain communication with other directors and attend relevant meetings.
  • Follow Unison's policies, maintain licensure and certification, and comply with legal and procedural requirements.
  • Meet agency standards for management roles.

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work or counseling.
  • LISW, LPCC required
  • Minimum of 3 years in children's behavioral health, child welfare, developmental disabilities, juvenile justice, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years in a management or clinical supervisory role, including behavioral health experience.
  • Previous care coordination experience preferred.
  • Must obtain health officer status following hire.
  • Thorough knowledge of mental illnesses and chronic physical health conditions, particularly in severely and persistently mentally ill individuals.
  • Working knowledge of substance abuse issues and recovery processes.
  • Understanding of laws and rules affecting mental health and substance abuse.
  • Ability to work within the community mental health system.
