This role will focus on:

The OEM Biopharma Eastern District Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales activities within a designated district, focusing on the sale of equipment, machinery, or products to Original Equipment Manufacturers in the fluid processing sector. They oversee a team and drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
The District Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales within a specified district. They oversee a sales rep, or channel partners, or OEM customers, and develop and implement sales strategies tailored to their needs.

What you'll be doing
• Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement sales strategies and plans focused on selling to WM products within the fluid processing industries, aligning with company objectives and market demands.
• Team Leadership: successfully manages outside sales reps, channel partners or OEM customers.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, providing solutions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for business expansion. Utilize findings to adapt strategies and stay competitive.
• Product and Industry Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company's products or services, ensuring the sales team is knowledgeable and capable of effectively presenting solutions to potential clients.
• Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare sales forecasts and reports, analyzing sales data to track progress against targets. Present findings to upper management and contribute to strategic decision-making.
• Negotiation and Deal Closure: Lead negotiations on major contracts, ensuring terms are favorable and align with the company's objectives. Close deals effectively, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.

This is what you'll need to be successful in this role
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or additional certifications can be advantageous.
• 10+ years of experience in Biopharma OEM sales, managing sales reps or channel partners, with a proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing a district or regional sales team.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team.
• In-depth knowledge of fluid technology industry markets, products, and customer needs.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM software, sales forecasting tools, and MS Office suite.
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

This position offers a salary range of (USD 111,876.00 - 167,815.00 Salaried). Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, including education, experience, internal equity, geographic location, and the candidate's expertise, and therefore may vary from the range listed. For roles based outside Massachusetts, the applicable salary range may be lower.
