Qualifications

• Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
• Ability to work independently in a community-based setting
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical reasoning skills
• Experience in community practice is valued; new graduates encouraged to apply
• Valid G or G2 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and proprietary clinical software

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home or virtual occupational therapy services funded by ministry
• Conduct comprehensive assessments using various tools and techniques
• Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans collaboratively with clients
• Supervise and monitor occupational therapy assistants as needed
• Educate clients and caregivers, connecting them to community resources
• Complete funding applications as required
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments and care plans
