  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.
  • Current California Occupational Therapy License or eligibility letter required.
  • If on a Limited Permit, must pass licensing exam within 90 days of receiving eligibility letter.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by AHA.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate occupational therapy needs as prescribed by a physician.
  • Plan and direct occupational therapy modalities for patients.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions in line with treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Document patient outcomes and treatment effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Position Description:

Responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of occupational therapy modalities prescribed by a licensed physician.

Qualifications

Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements:
  • One (1) year experience as an occupational therapist in acute care facility preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a Bachelors or Masters degree with certification in occupational therapy.
  • Current California Occupational Therapy License OR License eligibility letter prior to the first day of employment.
  • If CA OT License Eligibility Letter recipient with a Limited Permit: licensing exam must be passed within (90) days from letter date.
  • BLS (AHA) current certification
