You'll help residents bridge the gap between recovery and everyday life, building treatment around the activities they need and want to do.
What You'll Do- Evaluate self-care abilities and identify barriers to daily participation
- Develop individualized goals and provide occupational therapy treatment
- Address upper body function, coordination, and daily living skills
- Teach adaptive techniques and assess equipment needs
- Review progress, document care, and partner with nursing and the rehab team
