Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy

 

Location: 935 E. Ridgecrest Blvd., Ridgecrest, CA 93555

Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible schedule options available

Compensation: $87K-$104K/year (based on experience)

Incentives: $20K Sign-On Bonus + Monthly Student Loan Repayment Assistance + Relocation Assistance Available

 

Select Physical Therapy in Ridgecrest, CA is seeking a full0 Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist) to join our outpatient orthopedic team. Our clinic offers a supportive and energetic environment with a strong focus on mentorship, collaboration, and delivering high0quality patient care. Our diverse patient population is a strong mix of ortho, neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, pediatrics, hand therapy and more! 1:1 Mentorship available for new grads, providing strong support as you develop your clinical skills and grow your career.

 

Responsibilities
  • Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
  • High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
  • Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
  • Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver0s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
  • Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
