The Occupational Therapist will play a vital role in helping students develop functional skills for greater independence in school and daily life. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, families, and related service providers.
Support staff in implementing sensory strategies and adaptive techniques.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress monitoring and documentation.
Assist in the selection and use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
Promote student engagement in meaningful activities that support learning and independence.
Qualifications
Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience working with students with significant disabilities preferred.
Knowledge of sensory integration, assistive technology, and adaptive strategies.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Working Conditions
School-based and community settings within the STAR Program.
May require physical activity and lifting to support student mobility.
Travel between Collaborative sites may be required.
