Boston Speech Therapy is seeking a dedicated full-time
Occupational Therapist to work in a school-based setting. This role will involve working with students to enhance their daily living skills and improve their functionality within the school environment.
Responsibilities- Assess students' physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students' success.
- Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
- Monitor and report on student progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
Requirements- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and parents
- Effective organizational and time management skills
