Position OverviewJoin our dedicated OB Hospitalist team and provide compassionate, evidence-based care across the OB Emergency Department, antepartum, labor & delivery, and postpartum units. Collaborate closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, OB/GYN physicians, Family Medicine/OB providers, Certified Nurse Midwives, and NICU teams to deliver exceptional care for patients from 16 weeks gestation through the immediate postpartum period. Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center serves as the regional center for TOLAC and offers advanced NICU care for infants beginning at 22 weeks gestation, providing an opportunity to practice in a collaborative, supportive environment focused on outstanding maternal and newborn care.
Position QualificationsExperience - Current or recent experience in hospital medicine with experience and comfort in caring for patients in the area of specialty.
Education - Graduation from an approved ACGME- accredited OB/GYN Residency program
Certification/Licensure - Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider, certified by the American Heart Association
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Current unrestricted MD/DO license by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners
- Must obtain and maintain staff membership and appropriate privileges
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- Must meet all qualifications to participate in the hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage
