Summary:
Provides comprehensive women’s health care, including preventive services, gynecologic care, pregnancy management, childbirth, and surgical procedures, delivering high quality, patient centered care across the lifespan in an outpatient practice and hospital settings in alignment with organizational goals.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetric care, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum management.
- Provide on-site physician coverage for Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and antepartum units throughout scheduled shifts.
- Provide on-site physician coverage for gynecologic patients including inpatient and emergency department consults and admissions throughout scheduled shifts.
- Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions across the lifespan.
- Perform office-based procedures and surgical interventions as appropriate.
- Deliver preventive care, including well woman exams and health screenings.
- Counsel patients on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
- Collaborate with nursing, advanced practice providers, and ancillary staff.
- Adhere to clinical guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and professional development activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- MD, DO Degree
- Completion of an ACGME‑accredited OB/GYN residency program
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active and unrestricted state medical license
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient‑centered, evidence‑based care
Base Salary Range:
- $400,000 (min) - $430,000 (max)
Compensation Pay Range:
$192.31 - $206.73
