Qualifications

  • Diploma of Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
  • BSN strongly preferred;
  • One year of clinical nursing experience or completion of RN residency program required;

Nursing Supervisor (RN)- Emergency Dept (ED)

WORK LOCATION: The address is 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time; 40 hrs/week; 7 PM - 7 AM, Night shift - 2 eight hour office shifts, and 2 twelve hour shifts per week with 6 weekend shifts/6 weeks. Weekends are required to be 12 hours

HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
• Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
• BSN strongly preferred
• Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required
• One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program required
• Two (2) years of Emergency experience in an emergency setting strongly preferred
• Two (2) years' experience as a clinical nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e. Charge Nurse, Committee chair, preceptor) required
• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required AND
• BCLS -Basic Cardiac Life Support -Prior to providing independent patient care & maintained quarterly-required
• ACLS-Advance Cardiac Life Support- within 90 days required
• PALS-Pediatric Advance Life Support- within in 90 days required
• TNCC-Trauma Nursing Core Course -within 12 months required
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 60 Days Required

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Lead day-to-day operations of the Emergency, ensuring safe staffing, appropriate patient assignments, and efficient patient flow in a high-acuity environment
• Support staff in delivering safe, evidence-based care for critically ill patients, including complex therapies and equipment
• Reinforce safety standards, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance in daily practice
• Coach, mentor, and support nursing staff at the bedside to strengthen clinical skills and confidence in complex Emergency care
• Lead onboarding, orientation, and ongoing development of team members
• Provide real-time feedback, recognition, and performance guidance to drive engagement and retention
• Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture focused on excellence, communication, and continuous improvement
