Pay: $55.00 - $69.00 / Hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm
Responsibilities:The Nurse Practitioner will practice in collaboration with Orthopedic surgeons as direct healthcare providers. Responsibilities include working with patients and families to coordinate the delivery of care throughout the hospitalization. This is done by assessing, diagnosing, treating, educating and consulting through regular and/or crisis intervention. The Orthopedic NP is responsible for completing Admissions, Discharges, Inpatient Consultations and addressing floor calls for the Orthopedic service. Procedural duties include, but are not limited to: fracture and dislocation management, aspiration and injections and wound care management
Job Requirements:- Current New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Current New York State License as an Adult, Family Nurse Practitioner or Specialty area
- Minimum of two (2) years RN experience in critical care nursing.
- Master of Science Degree in Nursing or its direct equivalent, preferred.
- ACLS certification required.
