Full Job Description
Mission Heritage Medical Group is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join its growing outpatient Palliative Care program in Mission Viejo, California, with an anticipated start date of January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity to provide holistic, patient-centered care within a highly respected, mission-driven organization serving Orange County.

Position Details:
  • Full-time outpatient role
  • Anticipated start date: January 2027
  • Five 8-hour shifts per week
  • Shared call responsibilities, including occasional weekend phone call coverage
  • High level of autonomy within a collaborative, mission-driven practice

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Compensation is between $159,533 and $206,335 per year

The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital and call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation, as applicable. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and a comprehensive benefits package through their medical group employer. Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and other factors permitted by law.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with palliative care experience required
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
