This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a talented team of neurosurgeons, practice your subspecialty, and have the flexibility to set your own schedule. This hospital-employed position promises a high-volume caseload and a supportive environment for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with neurosurgeons to provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions.
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and perform follow-up care.
  • Assist in surgeries and procedures, providing pre-operative and post-operative care.
  • Manage inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical patients.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of neurosurgical services.


Requirements:

  • Meet credentialing requirements for Maryland state licensure, clinical privileges, and medical staff membership.
  • Hold a current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a focus or experience in neurosurgery.
