Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests
- Accurately document patient encounters, progress notes, and other relevant information in electronic medical records or other documentation systems.
- Advising patients on preventative care and optimal health practices
- Ensure quality of tests being performed
- Analyze and interpret test results i.e. pft, chest x-rays, abi's, EKGs, etc...
- Refer patients for further diagnostic testing as needed
- Relay information between clinics and physicians as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.
- Passing a national certification exam administered by organizations such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).
- State licensure as an NP
- Adult and Geriatric patient population experience
- Excellent judgment and discretion, ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Detail oriented while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess a wide range of medical conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
7:30AM - 3:30PM, Tuesday - Saturday, 5 Days a week
